The critics have spoken - and it's GOOD!! The elite members of the Scholastic Reading Review Crew, real-life kids recommending books for their peers, had this to say about Epic Fail Tales: Snow Man and the Seven Ninjas:
"I thought the story was very original. The storyline is different and not something I have read before. I like how the words look like they have been cut and pasted in the manuscript copy. I think that was a great idea.
The story has a lot of action and I found it very funny. I liked the ninjas most of all and love how they were described in the book. My favourite character is Fred, the seventh ninja. He was the smartest of them all!
What I liked about the book was when the snowman meets the ninjas in the temple. 6 are not very smart and have some funny names but the seventh is the smartest, which is Fred and he was my favourite!
The story was very funny and I enjoyed all the pictures that went with the story. I thought it was a good idea to change the idea of Snow White and the 7 Dwarves to make a new story. I give this book 4 stars."
